Black River RFB is a volunteer fire brigade servicing the communities of Black River, Beach Holm and Yabulu. We also provide rapid response bushfre services to Jensen Deeragun, Mt Low and Bushland Beach and support to Saunders Beach and Puron Park. We also support Rural Fire and SES operations throughout the Townsville Area, Greater QLD and Interstate.…

In Australia, 250 000 volunteer firefighters are ready to answer the call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. They do this for zero pay. They also give much of their time trying to raise much needed funds.
