CAF Australia is part of the global Charities Aid Foundation network. Charities Aid Foundation (UK) is the parent management body of the international organisation and is governed by a Declaration of Trust dated 2 October 1974 (as amended from time to time). The Board of Trustees is the body responsible for the management of CAF and is required to consist of:
The activities and objectives arising from the pursuit of CAF's mission are described throughout this report and contribute to the public benefit by creating value for other charities and helping to shape the charitable sector.
In Australia, the CAF Community Fund is a Public Ancillary Fund and in that capacity can receive tax deductible donor funds from Australian tax payers to be granted to Deductible Gift Recipient charities in Australia; or for the transfer of those funds to community projects internationally subject to the guidelines of the Australian Tax Office and AusAID.
CAF Australia also manages CAF New Zealand and supports cross Tasman companies involved with corporate and individual community investment.

CAF Australia is governed by an eight person Board of Directors; these Directors are also the Trustees of the CAF Community Fund.

Don Willesee |
A journalist by profession with an extensive career in Australian and overseas newspaper and television, Don has also worked in government and with not-for-profit organisations. Don worked as a public affairs consultant to CAF Australia since 2002 advising the organisation on its communications and marketing. In March 2009 he took up the created position of Director Project Development to help further direct and support CAF services.
In July 2010 Don was appointed Chief Executive of CAF Australia. |

During Lisa's corporate career she worked for 3M, Optus and Aussie Home Loans in a variety of marketing, sales and general management roles. From 2002-10, Lisa ran her own consultancy, Sense Marketing providing marketing and business planning services, including corporate community investment strategies.
Lisa joined the CAF in August 2010.
Lisa is Chairperson of Daystar Foundation, a charity operating in South West Sydney delivering in-school education programs to help children stay at school longer ultimately increasing their life opportunities. |

Simon Allsop’s career commenced in the Audit division of KPMG. In January 2012, he took on CAF’s accounting, reporting and funds management responsibilities. Simon is also founder and Managing Director of myaccounts, a Sydney based accounting support company that provides a range of Chief Financial Officer, bookkeeping, payroll management, BAS & GST compliance and reporting services to SME businesses.

Sue Mackinnon Grants Manager - International |
Sue has worked in Vietnam as Country Director for Voluntary Service Overseas, and later Regional Program Manager in South East Asia for Save the Children Australia, overseeing the management of multi-million dollar projects in Cambodia and Vietnam.
Sue's extensive experience in Australia, Asia, and the United Kingdom of donor project design, implementation and evaluation provides CAF's clients with access to one of the most highly skilled people in Australia when it comes to international grant making.
Sue manages CAF's overseas projects which includes vital due diligence on recipient charities and donors involved with overseas grant making. Sue also works extensively with Australian organisations seeking tax-deductibility on donations for overseas aid projects in accordance with AusAID requirements, and providing project advice and support. |

Teresita Viskovich BSc |
Teresita manages all aspects of the administration of CAF's donor process and is the vital linchpin between donors, CAF and recipient charities. With over 20 years commercial administration and accounting experience, Teresita provides CAF with financial disciplines required to meet our client and statutory requirements. A recipient of the Qantas Customer Excellence Award, Teresita holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and an accreditation in Commercial Law from Sydney University. |
