Dimension Data

Dimension Data was one of the early adopters of Pre-tax Payroll Giving in 2004. Now an integral component of the company’s community program, Heads, Hearts and Hands with over 300 employees, or 15% of all staff involved in regular and disaster appeal payroll giving as well as one-off fundraising initiatives. According to People & Culture Manager, Michelle Robinson, “We have found that our Workplace Payroll Giving program is a very easy way for our staff to support communities which are important to them. Whilst we have charity partners we support through volunteering and other initiatives, our payroll giving program allows us to support our staff to give to charities that are meaningful to them.”

Dimension Data matches 50% of employee donations to any charity for regular monthly donations and for disaster appeals the business will match up to 100% of donations depending on the location and the scale of the disaster. As the world is plagued by more and more disasters, the Dimension Data Australia group of companies has found that payroll giving is a simple way to support staff in their giving. Michelle says, “Our employees know that as a company we will support some disasters in Australia and around the world. CAF has provided invaluable assistance over the years; their quick action when it comes to implementing disaster appeal campaigns and their back office service are integral to enabling us to provide a strong payroll giving program to our employees.”
