Matched Giving and Workplace Giving

Our Matched Giving service makes company matching of employee donations easy. By matching donations to charities, companies can instill a great sense of common purpose and pride amongst employees. Matched Giving also helps companies to reinforce a sense of partnership between the employee and the employer by boosting the value of their donations leading to greater participation numbers for the payroll giving service.

CAF's software can service a variety of matching parameters to enable a company's matching funds to remain within budget: applying a total matching budget ceiling; applying an annual employee donation limit; matching only selected charities, such as charity partners; a special one-off matching period, bonus time, end of financial year, etc.

Matched Giving and Volunteer Time

Donating money can be very rewarding, however donating your time and skills can be equally beneficial for the charity. Managing corporate-run volunteering can be a time consuming task for the corporate and charity partner alike and often it is difficult to identify suitable and effective volunteering opportunities. Matching employees volunteering efforts would work whereby a business rewards its employees who organise their own volunteering.

The company can determine the rate to be paid for each volunteering hour, which can be capped. CAF manages the program logistics including validating charities, making donations, providing financial reconciliations and detailed reporting.

The charity, for which an employee volunteers, receives a donation from their volunteers employer for their time.

Matched Giving and Fundraising
